Altas is a collection of stories, emotions, sensations, projects and initiatives that have emerged in the Friche Eggevoort.
It is an attempt to highlight the wealth of experiences and encounters that have been taking place on this urban wasteland over the years, as well as to show how free space in the city can inspire and bring oxygen into a neighbourhood.
The atlas helps to recompose the collective memory without putting aside the experiences of each. It is a free device consisting of modules (wooden boards) on which each contributor can create his own story with drawings, pictures of stories, audio etc. This format makes it possible to read stories of the past and to bring out new ones, it allows to understand the past without being fixed and it also allows to reinterpret stories through a reorganization of its content.
